Overview: As Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declares the CGL Tier-1 results, Those who qualify in the Tier-I Exam, have to appear for Tier-II Exam. But unlike the UPSC mains, the SSC Tier-II doesn’t have the Descriptive Paper. As per previous years statistics more than one lakh people are going to appear in the CGL Tier-2 Exam which is the second stage of SSC CGL.  Aspirants must keep in mind that CGL Tier-2 level has higher difficulty level than that of CGL Tier-1 Exam.

SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2013:  SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam will contain multiple choice questions. It will have the following pattern:-

Quantitative Aptitude	200	100	2 Hrs	-0.50
English Language	200	200	2 Hrs	-0.25

These two papers are compulsory for all candidates. But if you’re applying for Statistical Investigator Grade-II, then you has to appear in one more paper, that is Paper III for Statistics, worth 200 marks.
